Accessibility
A dark, quiet store should still be a usable one. Here is where we stand and how to tell us when we have missed.

The standard we build to
We aim for the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 at level AA. That is a target we work toward continuously rather than a certification we claim.
What is in place
- Every interactive control is reachable and operable by keyboard, and shows a visible focus ring when you tab to it.
- Menus close on Escape, and the navigation opens on keyboard focus, not only on hover.
- Product images carry text alternatives, and images that are purely decorative are hidden from screen readers rather than described.
- Prices, formats, and the add-to-cart action are real text and real form controls, not pictures of text.
- Every animation has a reduced-motion state. If your system asks for less motion, the site stops moving.
- Pinch zoom is never disabled, and the layout reflows down to a 320px viewport.
Known gaps
Being straight about this is more useful than a clean claim. As of the date above:
- A portion of the catalogue still uses preview photography sourced from manufacturers and distributors. Its alt text is generated from the product name rather than written per image, so it identifies the product but does not describe the shot.
- Some decorative gold-on-dark detail sits below AA contrast. It is never the only way to read anything, but it is there.
Telling us about a problem
If something here blocks you, we want the specific page and what happened. Email order@mycigarstash.com or use the contact page, and we will reply within one business day. If a barrier stops you completing an order, say so and we will take the order by email in the meantime.
